How to Decide Who is the Best Artist?

To vote effectively for an artist, assess their overall performance using specific criteria.  Evaluate across categories such as Fashion/Appearance (how well they dressed), Stage Presence (confidence and engagement), Vocal Performance (strength and tuning), Instrumental Skills, Song Choice and Interpretation, Theme Communication, Energy and Intensity, Musical Arrangement, and how well instruments and vocals complemented each other.

Also consider Interaction, Choreography, Lighting/Visuals, Sound Quality (including mixing/mastering), Originality, Timing/Accuracy, Creativity, Consistency (quality throughout), Emotional Impact, and finally, the Overall Performance. Each point helps to form a complete judgment of the artist’s show.

How to Become an Outstanding Rapper

Rapping can be traced back to Africa long before hip hop existed. In West Africa, griots performed rhythmic poetry over drums and instruments. Modern rap is essentially poetry delivered over a beat. This guide covers the steps needed to become a skilled rapper. Follow them consistently and you can start creating strong material over time.

Step 1: Do Your Homework

To improve, study established artists and understand what makes their work stand out. Instead of casually listening, analyze lyrics in detail. Think about why certain lines resonate and what techniques are used. Learning the foundations and history of rap is just as important as practicing it.

Step 2: Practice Makes Perfect

Every successful rapper started with practice. Early writing may feel frustrating since it will not match professional work. That is expected. Over time, consistent effort leads to noticeable improvement. Development comes gradually, so writing regularly is necessary.

Step 3: Originality

The industry is crowded, so standing out requires originality. Avoid copying others and focus on your own style. Being authentic, even if unconventional, earns respect. Unique perspectives help push the genre forward and make your work recognizable.

Step 4: Introspection

Strong rappers connect with listeners on a personal level. This often involves being honest and reflective. Sharing real thoughts and experiences can be difficult, but it builds deeper audience connection and long-term support.

Step 5: Be Creative

Explore new directions and ideas. Hip hop continues to evolve, and creative artists expand its boundaries. Do not limit yourself to one sound. Experimentation keeps your work engaging and allows growth.

Step 6: Controversy

Rap has always been a form of storytelling and social expression. Do not avoid difficult topics if they matter to you. Speak with intention rather than shock value. Thoughtful expression can have impact without unnecessary offense.

Step 7: Delivery

Delivery affects how lyrics are received. Timing, tone, and rhythm shape the listener’s experience. Strong delivery keeps attention and adds impact, while poor timing can weaken even good writing.

Step 8: Swagger

Confidence is essential. Present yourself with certainty in both appearance and performance. Authentic confidence matters more than trends. Being comfortable with your identity defines your presence.

Step 9: Personality

A strong personality makes an artist memorable. Distinct traits, perspectives, or personas help engage listeners. Individual expression keeps audiences interested and invested.

Step 10: Stage Presence

Live performance requires energy and engagement. Move with purpose and interact with the crowd. A strong stage presence makes performances more compelling and leaves a lasting impression.

Step 11: Significance

Great rappers create work that remains meaningful over time. Address topics that matter and resonate beyond the present. Impactful lyrics can influence audiences and maintain relevance long after release.
